Non-members of RTO District 20 are welcome after members have had an opportunity to register.

The District 20 Travel Program continues with new summer tours. We have an ambitious tour of Australia and New Zealand planned, and some great ideas for 2011 and 2012.

 


Summer Tours

Note: Some of these tours are being run by RTO/ERO District 19, Quinte.

July 31 St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival, Prescott: includes transportation, a tour and lunch at Fulford House in Brockville, two plays and dinner. $155 per person, all inclusive.

August 11/12 Orillia, Casino Rama or Orillia Tour, Theatre Night, Shopping and Cruise. See an evening performance of Suds: The Rocking 60's Musical and enjoy a cruise on the Island Princess. $245 double. District 19 Tour: Contact Michael Roberts 613-968-8371

Winter, 2011

We are investigating a new sunshine destination for January 2011, and plan to return to Portugal in February-March, 2011. Check back for details!

AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

October 24 – November 29, 2010

 

East Coast Australia (Cairns, Sydney, Melbourne)

plus

Tasmania

and New Zealand, North and South Islands

These can be combined or booked separately.

The combined tour will run approximately 5 weeks

 

Both segments focus on 2 or 3-night stays in key locations. Travel between regions will be by short flights or motor coach.

Tour leaders John and Karen Kitney lived in Australia on a teaching exchange and explored New Zealand extensively before returning home. They are looking forward to sharing their enthusiasm for the lands "Down Under" with you.

Long term, we are considering

Scandinavia: May – June 2011

South East Asia: (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia): Fall, 2011

Patagonia: Jan – Feb 2012

India: Fall, 2012
